Our mission statement:

HEAR IT, FEEL IT, LIVE IT, SHARE IT - GOD'S LOVE

Welcome to Our Savior's Lutheran Church,
a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (The ELCA). Our Savior's Lutheran is a dynamic congregation ministering to people of all ages and places. From providing to a food pantry to peoples of many countries, we feed body and soul and embrace God's children of all ages.

Worship is central to our faith life at Our Savior's Lutheran. All services include the sacrament of Holy Communion and our primary worship resource is the ELW. Our music is varied and we have choirs for all ages. Worship happens at 9:00 am at Our Savior’s with fellowship hour to follow.

Ministries of Our Savior's include but are not limited to: combating local and global hunger, Operation Christmas Child, domestic mission trips, youth and family events, Luther Point Bible Camp, WELCA, MIM, choirs, care for the homebound, education and any way that we make Christ's name known.

Our Savior's is supporting a Young Adults in Global Mission (YAGM) volunteer, Rachel Mann, who is volunteering in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar! To learn about the YAGM ministry, her mission there, or to giver her support, check out her website here!

Weekly Devotional

Mark 16:6
But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him.”

Christ is risen! Alleluia!

This is the joyful celebration we wait for all of Lent. It’s the day when we get to shout with joy at the wonder and miracle that God has shown us: that death has been defeated. We have many hopes that go with the kingdom that Jesus has announced, but I think none of these hopes is quite so profound as the certainty that because he lives, we shall live also.

Few of us have not experienced the sting of losing someone we love. Even fewer among us have not experienced some kind of loss that left us in grief, whether losing a job, an important heirloom, an opportunity, or a longed-for hope. But with Christ rising from the dead, we can have hope that new life is there for us as well. New life that springs up here and now, with the renewal of our souls through the forgiveness of sins, and new life that springs up in the face of death, when the hope of all things will be finished on the Last Day.

God has indeed given us a wondrous miracle to give strength to our hope, that death is truly defeated and holds no more power over us. With the words of the angel in the empty tomb, we can react with hope and joy at the words, “he has been raised, he is not here.” We can live in hope knowing that the tomb was empty and he has been raised!

Let’s live into this new life that God has given us, and let’s be guided by the hope of everlasting life that it brings!

Christ is risen! Alleluia!
